Powder Technic supplies the Powdermatic system to Europe's no 2 Gluten-free bakery

Moilas GF, the no 2 gluten-free bakery in Europe,  has selected Powder Technic as the supplier of the dosing system to its new bakery in Naarajärvi, Finland. 

All the most used raw ingredients – 26 dry ingredients and  and 6 fluids – were included in the automatic dosing system.

Small ingredient automatically from Powdermatic™

Wheat flour, that is used on the pizza baking line, is dosed from a new 60m3 powder silo. The small ingredients (20 pc) are dosed precisely weighed from the Powdermatic™ unit that is placed in the storage room.

Minor ingredients from big bag stations

Minor ingredients, like sugar, corn starch and potato flour is dosed from big bag unit to an intermediate scale at the same time as the Powdermatic™ unit is dosing the small components. The minor ingredients are then conveyed to the flour scales. 

Pneumatic conveying of dry ingredients to production lines 

Precisely weighed powders are run from the silo and Powdermatic with pneumatic conveyors to the flour scales , from which they are dosed into the dough hopper in a controlled, dust-free manner

Automatic fluid dosing 

The automatic dosing of fluids is performed by the Watermatic™ and Fluidmatic™ dosing units, which are connected to the raw ingredient system. The Watermatic is a compact dosing unit for the dosing of water. The water being dosed is run from the Watermatic directly into the dough hopper to an accuracy of 1 decilitre and at the desired temperature.

Oil,syrup and other fluids are dosed by  weighing with the Fluidmatic™ fluid dosing unit. Placed in the raw ingredient storage room, the dosing unit is comprised of two fluid containers set on scale sensors and an integrated dosing pump, which pumps the precisely weighed fluid into the dough hopper.

Recipe-controlled dosing of the ingredients 

In accordance with the product recipes, the recipe dosing system doses up to 16 300-litre raw ingredient batches an hour. The active dosing accuracy maintenance automation monitors dosing accuracies and raw ingredient stock levels. Dosing actions and raw ingredient consumption reports for a desired time period are saved in the system and can be used for a variety of purposes.
